Casey is passionate about women's issues and LGBTQ+ identified individuals and couples/families, including Queer people, WLW, those with expansive gender identities and Trans folks.
She specializes in providing care for families and couples affected by problematic substance use/addiction and family systems in substance use recovery.
Casey is a strong proponent of group therapy and believes in the healing power of connection and community.
Casey has been providing Social Work and Psychotherapy services to a variety of populations for nearly a decade. Their background includes acute psychiatric care, addiction, couples and family therapy, case management for unhoused people, and older adult healthcare.
Casey earned her Master of Social Work from Kennesaw State University, Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia, and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Georgia with a minor emphasis in Human Development and Family Sciences.
Casey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Atlanta, Georgia and provides telehealth services to Georgia residents.
Casey is proudly a founding organizer of the Let's Talk About It Clinical Care Conference, whose mission is to provide a space for the professional development of specialized mental health care for queer and transgender clients.
Casey began leading professional continuing education in 2019. She has taught CEs about the use of arts in substance use treatment as well as combatting self-doubt in the field of Social Work.
